Thanks for sharing your insights! Not that many write about making and selling a hardware product.

This is great experience, and good learning opportunity. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely I have had multiple broken screwdrivers. It's the quality checks that those did not go through and the choice of materials. All those plasticky ones with the transparent material gets brittle over time (i meant very quickly) and slightest temperature change causes them to become little independent pieces instead of a single solid piece and the metal doesn't embed deep enough to distribute the pressure during operation... Lot more to write and discuss, but impressed about what you have achieved. Really nice to thoughts and the willingness to narrate the experience with genuine nature! Congrats and respects for that! Best wishes!

Hi Simon, thank you for sharing your journey! I would love to hear more about your your process, particularly in the early stages. Ideation, creating prototypes, raising money, campaigning, and pricing.

Congrats on the success!

It's a great lamp, I have good lighting at home already but pre-ordered one for my Mom. Really happy with the result and you've done a great job at support.

I appreciate the write-up, interesting stuff. Would love to see more posts from you in the future.

Hardware is hard! You have literally described in a microcosm every launch and ramp I have experienced.

10/10 piece. Hit the nail on the head with navigating hardware. Can't wait to read more

Id order one right now if the head was adjustable so could double as a light while doing photography etc. cool light regardless but just an idea for 2.0

Thanks for the suggestion! Do you currently also use photography lights? Would you want to use for a photography studio or would it be in your house?
